Grocery store swaps… holiday edition!

The other day I was doing some investigating work at a local grocery store and stopped dead in my tracks when I saw the large displays of holiday baking ingredients. They were stocked full of… Crisco… Gold Medal All-Purpose Flour… Baking Powder with Aluminum… C&H Cane Sugar… Vanilla Artificial Flavoring… Artificial Food Colors… Domino Brown Sugar… and many more unhealthy (but super popular) products. I knew right then and there I needed to write about this immediately!

With these healthier swaps, you can ignore those holiday displays full of GMOs and controversial additives at your grocery store and still make your favorite recipes!

How we choose to spend our dollars is very powerful. If everyone made these healthier swaps, our stores would stop carrying all those toxic products and give us more good options!
