3 Healthy Lunch Ideas For Kids

Idea 1 - Add it to quinoa while cooking - the bone broth cooks right into the seed, it's seamless! I love quinoa and it's fun to eat.

Quinoa with Truvani Bone Broth (Serves 2)

Ingredients:

½ cup dry quinoa

2 tablespoons Truvani Bone Broth Powder

Pinch sea salt

Directions:

1. Bring 1 cup of water to boil over medium heat.
   
   
2. Add the quinoa, bone broth and salt. Cover and simmer on low for 12-15 minutes or until the liquid has evaporated.

Idea 2 - Add it to rice while cooking

Try this rice with beans, chicken or stir-fry vegetables to round out the meal.

Basmati Rice with Truvani Bone Broth  (Serves 2)

Ingredients:

½ cup basmati rice

2 tablespoons Truvani Bone Broth Powder

Pinch sea salt

Directions:

1. Bring 1 cup of water to boil over medium heat.
   
   
2. Add the rice, bone broth and salt. Cover and simmer on low for 15-17 minutes or until the liquid has evaporated.

Idea 3 - Stir it into pasta sauce or mac n cheese

I love serving lentil pasta instead of traditional white pasta to Harley.

Pasta Sauce with Truvani Bone Broth (Serves 2)

Ingredients:

1 cup jarred pasta sauce

2 tablespoons Truvani Bone Broth Powder

Directions:

1. Pour the sauce into a small pot over medium heat.
   
   
2. Stir in the Truvani Bone Broth Powder. Heat until desired temperature.
   
   
3. Serve with lentil or whole grain pasta.

Note: I also like to mix some vegetables into the pasta sauce as well. Harley likes to eat peas, eggplant or zucchini with her pasta.
