Don’t fall for this “Protein” trick

You've probably seen these products everywhere...

Protein Tortillas, Protein Chips, Protein Cookies, Protein Ice Cream…the list goes on and on.

But I need to warn you.

Big Food knows "high protein" sells right now, so they're slapping it on the front of anything they can to fool you into thinking their product is good for you.

REMEMBER: The ingredient list is what tells you the truth, no matter what's on the front of the package.

This doesn't mean every product with protein on the label is bad for you. It just means you can't trust the label alone. As long as you flip it over and read the ingredients every time, you're protected.

Let me give you some examples of how this trick works:

These tortillas advertise "2g net carbs" and carry a "Keto Certified" badge, but the main ingredient is modified wheat starch, a chemically altered starch used to artificially inflate the fiber count and lower the carb number on the label. And that "GLP-1 Friendly" claim on the front? It's not a regulated term. It means nothing beyond marketing.

The 16 grams of protein in Quest Chips doesn't cancel out seed oils processed with chemical solvents and hexane (a neurotoxin) or yeast extract added specifically to make the chips more addictive.

Despite the "Mixed Berry" name, there are zero actual berries inside Oikos Pro. Just lab-made flavors, vegetable juice for fake color, and an artificial preservative added to keep the whole thing from growing mold.

The next time you see the word "protein" slapped on a product, remember that tells you nothing about what else is in it. Always flip it over and read the ingredients before you buy. And if you want to add protein to your diet with the best ingredients - choose whole foods, or protein powders like Truvani that use the best organic ingredients with no artificial toxins!

Xo,

Vani
