My favorite recipes for SUMMER TIME :)

This has always been my favorite time of year. The days are longer, the sun is shining, and the heat is rising. Around this time when I was a child, my mom would stock our freezer with Orange Creamsicles (my fave!!!) and ice cream sandwiches that were ready to grab on a hot day. Back then we didn't pay attention to what was in them, but now I CRINGE when I read the ingredients…

Orange Creamsicles: Nonfat Milk, Corn Syrup, Sugar, Water, High Fructose Corn Syrup, Maltodextrin, Cream, Orange Juice (From Concentrate), Whey, Less Than 1% Of: Mono And Diglycerides, Propylene Glycol Monoesters, Dextrose, Citric Acid, Malic Acid, Cellulose Gel, Guar Gum, Polysorbate 80, Locust Bean Gum, Cellulose Gum, Natural Flavor, Ascorbic Acid, Carrageenan, Annatto Extract, Vitamin A Palmitate.

Blue Bunny Simply Vanilla Ice Cream Sandwiches: Reduced Fat Ice Cream (Milk, Cream, Sugar, Corn Syrup, Skim Milk, Whey, Buttermilk, Contains 1% Or Less Of Vanilla Extract, Natural Flavor, Mono And Diglycerides, Carob Bean Gum, Cellulose Gum, Carrageenan, Vitamin A Palmitate).
