The Monsanto Commercials

I am on a train from DC to New York and just realized I forgot to share something with you last week amidst all the exciting book announcing!

I know you've been seeing the incredulous Monsanto commercials being played everywhere – on networks like Food Network, ABC Family, HGTV, and even on Pandora! They might be launching a HUGE media campaign, but our message is still getting out there.

For example, just this month…

• The New York Times invited me to debate in a column called "Room For Debate" where I discussed how the 40 billion dollar "natural" industry goes unregulated by the FDA. Read the column here and feel free to comment to make your voice heard!
• The Wall Street Journal featured our work in a story they covered on the front page on 11/4 -  "Meat Companies Go Antibiotics-Free as More Consumers Demand It."
• Politico mentioned our recent work to spread the news about "Ractopamine", a growth enhancing drug that's fed to some turkeys to increase their muscle mass. This drug is banned in over 160 countries.
• And last but not least, Prevention Magazine featured our work in their November Issue. If you are out and about, pick up a copy and turn to the last page!

They might have the money, but we have the people. The message is getting out!

I wanted to share all these recent media events to show you that if you keep spreading the word, the media will cover it.
