Last week, I was invited by The President of the United States to the White House to witness the release of the first MAHA Commission Report on the disastrous state of American health.

4 more harmful ingredients on FDA’s watch list!

I'm heading to DC for a big event tomorrow. 

The "Make America Healthy Again" MAHA Commission Report is going to be released -  which will be a comprehensive look into why Americans are so sick.

Stay tuned on all my social media channels for what happens at this event…It will be historic. 

There is so much work to be done and everything can't happen overnight, but I'm thankful that steps are finally being taken on the federal level to get harmful chemicals out of our food.

And now… several of the man-made ingredients we've been warning about for years are in the HOT SEAT, officially being reviewed by the FDA.

The FDA announced they're fast-tracking their review of unnecessary chemicals that food companies have already removed overseas, and expanded their list to include:

1. AZODICARBONAMIDE ("Yoga Mat Chemical"): We successfully petitioned Subway to remove Azodicarbonamide (banned in Europe and Australia) from their breads in 2014, and many other bread manufacturers in America. This chemical is linked to cancer because when the Azodicarbonamide is baked, it can form semicarbazide (a carcinogen) and urethane (suspected carcinogen).

 

2. BHT: We petitioned General Mills and Kellogg's to remove this preservative from their cereals - which is still ongoing. They don't use BHT in other countries, which is an endocrine disruptor linked to cancer in some animal studies.

3. BHA: This is a common preservative found in pizzas, sausages, and Kool-Aid, which the International Agency for Research on Cancer classifies as "possibly carcinogenic to humans".
4. TITANIUM DIOXIDE: A brightening agent found in Skittles, which was banned in Europe after it was found to damage DNA, potentially leading to cancer. Food companies swiftly removed the chemical overseas, but left it in their American products!

Big Food under fire!

My friend and fellow fighter of truth, Dr. Casey Means was nominated as our next U.S. Surgeon General last week.

Oof! Terrible news for Kellogg's

As I said last October…

Kellogg's refusal to sit down with us was the biggest PR mistake in food history. 

It's all playing out now in real time. 

Yesterday Kellogg's had their 1st quarter earnings call and it was a doozy! 

Their sales are tanking. 

Their profit forecast is taking a nose-dive.

And their CEO said: "business did not perform as we had expected"
